We’re going to try this one again, and this time we’re going to be here a little bit more often in the Island Weather Blog.
Our viewers take their weather pretty seriously. We get phone calls and e-mails, and every once in a while, someone actually takes the time to craft a letter to comment on something we’ve mentioned on the air, or perhaps how we’ve handled an event, like a tsunami watch or a flood warning.
Well, for you serious weather watchers (and those of you with a passing interest), here’s the Island Weather Blog. We’ll be posting from time to time on what’s going on with the weather, either to comment on what’s going on, or, even better, explain why the weather is happening the way it is, with perhaps more detail than is possible on the few minutes we have on the air.
Let us know what you think; we’re always open to suggestions. If you’ve got a question, go ahead and ask. And we welcome weather tips with an open inbox, all at the e-mail below.
Also, we’re going to put a photo in the next few posts. If you have a weather photo you’d like to send us, by all means… but mainly by e-mail, send them!
